These “energy” techniques provide relief from distressing emotions, help “clear” limiting beliefs, and change problematic behaviors. They also help heal trauma in a way that is not retraumatizing.

The well known trauma educational book “The Body Keeps The Score,” describes Emotional Freedom Technique as a very effective tool for trauma recovery. Emotional Freedom Technique(EFT or tapping) is becoming more widely recognized as an effective way of healing many challenges. Kelly is a certified EFT practitioner. She has been trained by EFT founder, Gary Craig and is also trained by him in his newer modality, Optimal EFT. She is a member of Gary Craig’s worldwide membership program, where she meets regularly with other practitioners to improve their skills for their clients and their own healing.

Kelly is also certified in Spontaneous Transformation Therapy (STT) which is another technique that helps resolve trauma related emotions and experiences without “diving” into the memories. These sessions allow the client to connect with their compassionate, calm and confident Self to provide healing to their wounded parts. Through this work, transformation occurs easily.

What is EFT?

Emotional Freedom Technique, or tapping as it often known, is an effective way to move stuck energy through the body (the body is made of energy) and helps to calm the nervous system. It utilizes tapping on specific acupuncture/pressure points while focusing on an “issue” or belief that you are wanting to resolve in some way. Through working with Kelly she can teach you how to use tapping (she does not tap on you), while working through the beliefs and emotions that are keeping you stuck. She can show you how you can safely use the technique on your own as well, which can improve the results of therapy. Optimal Emotional Freedom Technique has been developed by the founder of EFT, Gary Craig, and has been demonstrated by himself and others who are using it to be just as if not more effective than EFT. What is STT?

The Spontaneous Transformation Technique (STT) is an innovative, healing modality that transforms withheld energy, to instantly free clients from various ailments and heartaches in 10 - 20 minutes

The focus of these sessions are on uprooting and healing core issues held in the subconscious, through working with the traumatized “parts” of you in a loving and neutral way, which allows the energy to return to a natural flow in the body.

This work acknowledges the client’s innate wisdom and capacity to heal, through a recognition of internal imbalances that have been created by thoughts, memories and beliefs and transforming them through.
